Evan Hromada

Evan was diagnosed with Classic Galactoesemia at 3 days old. His passion for newborn screening and the policies towards it led Evan to pursue a Master’s in Public Health and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota in a dual degree. He is hoping to find a career where he can continue to advocate for newborn screening in the future. Evan will graduate in the spring of 2017. Evan also loves Spanish and got his undergraduate BA in Spanish and Political Science in the summer of 2015. Evan is currently a Spanish tutor at the University of Minnesota and he had previous experience teaching English when studying abroad in Toledo, Spain during the spring of 2014.
