Susan M Huber BSN, MS, CDP
On a personal level I am the mother of Ben Huber, a wonderful young man born with classic galactosemia in 1976 prior to newborn screening. For many years we were alone facing the unknown elements of this disease and learned to question, challenge, and learn all we could. We still are among those paving the way of discovery in hopes to learn more about the life spectrum of the disorder and provide a more clear understanding for future generations.
As a nursing graduate of the University of Michigan holding a master's degree in organizational performance and certificates from John Hartford Institute of Geriatrics in New York, I bring a depth of knowledge supported by research and best practices in areas of aging and mental health. Coupled with my experiences as a former administrator, business professional, speaker, author and educator I share lessons learned for application in the "real world" and have a proven track record of facilitating effective culture change.
