Nancy Potter, PhD, CCC-SLP

Dr. Nancy Potter is speech-language pathologist and a professor in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University Spokane. For the past 30+ years she has specialized in assessing and treating children and adults with neurologic (brain-based) speech, language, and swallowing impairments. She has been actively researching long-term outcomes, assessment, and treatment in galactosemia for the past 13 years. She recently completed testing 360 children for a study on Duarte galactosemia with Dr. Judy Fridovich-Keil. She co-directs a summer speech camp for children, ages 5-10, with severe speech disorders. One of her and her graduate students’ latest research projects is focused on assessing movement disorders in children.
