Christopher Topper is a twenty-year-old, bilingual, honor roll-college student who was diagnosed with Classic Galactosemia eleven days after birth. Chris is a sophomore at Suffolk County Community College, where he is involved in several clubs and activities. Maintaining a 3.0 grade point average, his favorite activity is being apart of Student Government so that his voice can be heard. There, he holds a position as a Senator. In Chris’s spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, spending time with his family (and two dogs), playing several sports such as baseball, basketball, and football, and going to the gym. Chris currently works as a football referee, a football coach, and a t-ball coach at a youth sports league that he and his elder brother, Keith, used to play for. He is also a school-baseball umpire, a job he truly finds to be rewarding and a great experience. This is Christopher’s eighth conference. He is excited to see his old friends and make new ones; he hopes to be an inspiration to many families, as well.
